About Cindy Asen, Principal

After holding senior positions in a Fortune 100 company and innovative research firm, Cindy has run a busy consulting practice with a wide variety of clients since 2002.  Clients are major corporations and non-profits as well as small and mid-size organizations.

Practice areas include Healthcare, Health and Wellness, Education, Financial Services, Consumer Packaged Goods, Media, Retail and Not-for-Profit.

Cindy uses a wide variety of research tools including quantitative, qualitative, digital, syndicated, secondary research and competitive intelligence.

She has deep expertise with consumer, B2B, medical, education and other specialized audiences.

Before becoming a consultant, Cindy’s employment included:

  • American Express – Vice President, Global Marketplace Insights
  • Knowledge Networks (research firm, now part of GfK) – Vice President, Managing Director
  • Colgate-Palmolive – Research Manager

Cindy developed a course on research design for the American Marketing Association and module on financial marketing research for a Fordham University MBA course. She also spoke at an industry conference to share strategies insights departments can use to ensure they meet organizational needs during periods of rapid change.

With a passion for improving educational opportunities for young people, Cindy provides pro bono work for selected non-profits in education.

Educational background includes an MBA from Fordham University Gabelli School of Business and a BA from New York University.  Knowledge is continuously updated via conferences, webinars, industry colleagues and monitoring developments and innovation online.
